A lot of things can cause that. On a car that old everything is suspect. It might be as simple as a vacuum leak, you have vacuum hoses just shy of 30 years old if they're original. Another easy thing to try would be cleaning the throttle body.
Its a one owner car. Very clean. No leaks. Driven easy.
The fact remains that it is nearly 30 years old and parts deteriorate over that period of time, particularly rubber parts.
No trouble shooting done. Just drive it. It runs great. Just has some "jerks" in the idle. I ran some injector cleaner through it. No check engine light.
