Running exclusively on LPG

Hola Scotty,

I enjoy your show, keep it up.

I just bought, properly the worst car according to your opinion, from the Renault/Nissan group’s discount brand, the new bi-fuel petrol/LPG 2021 Dacia Sandero https://www.dacia.co.uk/vehicles/sandero.html

I don’t know anything about LPG cars. LPG is about half the price of petrol here in Spain. Do you see any problem running it on LPG all the time? According to the manufacturer, it will always start on petrol, then immediately switch to LPG if the button is activated. So I would only keep a few gallons of petrol in the tank, make sure to cycle it about once a year to avoid it getting stale.

I don’t drive much and intend to keep it 10-15 years (or until it falls apart).

/Tom

since it was designed for that, you won’t have issues with it.
