Is paint chipping a problem on new Toyotas?

My wife bought a 2022 White 4Runner brand new. At around 1,500 miles we noticed paint chips all over the vehicle. Front,Sides,Roof, even at the Rear next to license plate. It's not abused and garage parked. Contacted the dealer they say normal wear and tear.. Called Toyota they say the same. I have a 2005 Sienna with less chipping! What do I do? Thank you!

Can you please post a few pictures here? https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/postid/183035/

Must have painted it on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon.  No, it is not normal wear and tear.  Be prepared for a good fight with Toyota.

For me it is not normal. You can tell them you will take the car to Scotty and let him film the stuff. Scotty says that usually helps.

Since you mention it’s there even at the rear, then it’s not due to normal wear and tear..
