Hi Scotty I hope you are well, The MR2 1986 has been driving fine. When I wanted to adjust the parking brake cable, I jacked the car up, finished the job and put it back down. Now when I turn on the car, I can't select any of the gears. But when the car is off the gear shifts fine. I can shift it in first when the car is off and start the car, it goes a bit and dies, even if I floor the clutch pedal. It feels like the clutch is not disengaging. Clutch fluid seems fine. This has happened before but only intermittently. Now it is stuck in the driveway.. What is going on?? Thanks Scotty!

Start with your clutch master cylinder then the slave cylinder near the flywheel.  Check for bent or crimped tubing which you have done inadvertently while jacking up the car.

Update: I have checked the master and slave cylinder. Tubing seems fine and I have bled the clutch. No change. It feels like the clutch is stuck engaged..
