I have a 2014 Toyota Tundra with the 5.7 liter V8. The vehicle currently has 108,000 miles on it. I don’t believe the transmission fluid has ever been changed. I’ve heard a drain and fill is the best option for this, but I’ve also heard that a vehicle with high mileage should probably just be left alone, due to the transmission being used to thicker dirty fluid. Should I leave well enough alone and not do a drain and fill, or do you think that a drain and fill is still a good option at 108,000 miles? The vehicle currently runs and shifts fine.
