Hello Scotty,
I hope you are well.
I from Cape Town South Africa and find your channel to be most informative regarding which cars to buy and which to avoid. Also, the maintenance tips have really been a great help.
I’m looking to buy a used manual Honda 2014 Honda Civic 1.6 litre sedan with 105 000 kilometres on the clock.
Its from a reputable dealership and the its selling for R114,000-00 (SA Rand) or around USD$8,000-00.
Should I buy it? Is the mileage too high? But the price is so good and its from a reputable dealer that offers after sales backup.
I would like to get your advice on this.
And I continue to enjoy your channel. Its entertaining and informative and has taught me a lot about how to maintain a car.
Thanks and regards
John Ford

I personally would try to pay a little less than 8 grand but it’s at a dealership so they probably won’t come down too far on the price. Overall it sounds like a good car, just make sure to have a trusted mechanic inspect it before purchase.
The mileage isn't high at all in fact its low if a mechanic says its in good shape buy it!
