2007 Honda Pilot 172000 miles looks great for it's age. What are the cons. Does the engine or trans have problems in that year?

Scotty has mentioned numerous times that older Honda automatic transmissions tend to be weak.
A lot can happen to a vehicle in 15 years. You should not buy any used car without having a thorough pre-purchase inspection done by a good mechanic.
