Looking at a 2013 Lexus RX350 AWD at a dealer for around $21,455 with 93k miles on it. Now I already know that this is way too much of an asking price with the milage plus the fact that it's a 10 year old SUV. But I sort of expect it considering how much of a rip off dealerships can be. But at the same time, it is a Lexus. So I was wondering. Should I buy it? I'm gonna have a mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection before signing any papers of course, but I wanted to know. Is there anything that I should look out for? Are those cars good for longevity with proper maintenance? Are they bad?
Well they are well made vehicles and it depends on how the mileage was put on. If it was highway mileage it wouldn't be that bad. Just make sure you get a damn good mechanic to check it out or knows this stuff
They are good cars overall, and had worked any big issues out by that time. Just make sure it was serviced properly, which should be easy if you look at the lexus maintenance records.
Make sure to test drive it on a bad road to see if the suspension is okay, some complained of bad struts by around 90k.
