I'm a big fan of your channel and I have a problem that has a risen in my car.

As you know Volkswagen recalled 2015-2018 Jettas for fuel rail bolts that may become loose and cause a fuel leak. Mine is a 2017 but my VIN is not included. I am a line worker at GM and I went out to go to work the other night and hit start and the car turned over but did not start. I was like what the heck.  Pushed start again and I was overwhelmed with the smell of gas so I got out of the car and looked underneath and there was a puddle of fuel that stretched from directly under the motor all the way to the back tires.  You can't see anything on those engines so I had AAA tow it to my trusted local mechanic.  One of the fuel rail bolts fell completely out so it was shooting fuel directly on the ground.  It cost $900 to fix.  I have detailed receipts and I'm asking Volkswagen to reimburse me because they were the exact bolts that they recalled with the other vins.  I would love and you help you get provide inbolt. Getting a return and letting the NHTS know there are a lot of cars with this problem that have been overlooked..  let your viewers now? They're family safety could be in danger.

This car has been maintained meticulously with 5,000 Mi full synthetic oil changes and transmission fluid changes and I have zero carbon buildup in the car is in Tip Top condition averaging 39 MPG which is 99% highway miles.

I have reached out to Volkswagen and their refund department and submitted all my receipts but I have not heard back

Thanks Scotty

Keep up the good work

Well of course all those companies are scumbags. They recall something and other cars are exactly the same and they often do not recall them. Keep trying with them. Maybe you should tell them that I'm talking about it. Too bad PR makes them look like scumbags which they are but they don't want to be seen that way so you never know mention my name
