Hi my name is Austin and i was wondering the thoughts on a 2015 Chevy Malibu LT with the 4cyl 2.5 automatic(i belive ecotec) it has 144k and the price is very reasonable for what it is. My brother feels the same way about GM cars so i have heard it all but i am in need of a new car at this point and am fixed for cash. The only thing i have really seen is the timing chain going out from not doing oil changes i have pulled up the Carfax and this car has been regularly taken care of and serviced. Is it worth going for? It is coming from a dealer/3rd party

Basically as they age those cars are junk. I wouldn't touch one without mileage unless it was like $400 and you hope it lasted for a few months
