[Solved] Should I keep my 2004 Honda Accord

I have a 2004 Honda Accord V6 with 170K miles.  The car was purchased used in 2016.  The car has been well maintained since we've had it.  Aside from normal maintenance, we have replaced the power steering pump and AC compressor.  Seems like some items are starting to fail a bit more rapidly.  Just had the speed sensor on the  transmission replaced - it fried while  driving on the highway.  The mechanic told me he also hears some transmission whine that he thought might be indicative of a pending transmission problem.  He told me this model year of Accord did have some transmission problems.  I, myself, do not hear any unusual whine - maybe I don't know what to listen for?  The car shifts gears very smoothly.

The front windows no longer work, but otherwise the car is solid.  The engine in particular is still strong and runs great.

This is my daughter's car.  She lives in a different state and I don't want her to get stranded like she did with the speed sensor.  What is your opinion on the reliability of this car?  Should I be concerned about the transmission?  Are there other telltale signs we should be on the lookout for that would indicate if the transmission is going to develop into a serious issue?

Thank you!

The transmission on that model year is notorious for having issues, and since your mechanic warned you about that in your car, I think it is a good idea to look for another car.
