Hey Scotty, thanks for all the great videos as many have probably said before. Looking to trade in my 2013 four-door Toyota Tacoma with 92,000 miles on it and upgrade for a tundra. I know you speak very highly of Toyota in general especially the tundras, but want to get your take on doing an upgrade like that as I am trying to start doing some towing and hauling. Are there certain years that I should avoid for the tundra, I have heard 2013 is a good one. Are there other considerations I should be looking at yeah I’m just not aware of. I have watched many if not almost all of your Used car trucking almost anything related videos on the matter. Just don’t want to make a dumb mistake and traded my perfectly running Tacoma for a lemon. Thank you for taking the time to read this as I know you have many, kind regards, Alex
Not many full size pickups and SUV's get great gas mileage, but Tundra's got terrible gas mileage.
Here's a video from someone that works on Toyota for a living. He does a thorough job. Good luck in your endeavor.
In today's market you'll be surprised how much more your Taco is worth due to the pandemic.

There earlier years had frame rot issues. They did some recalls and coated the frames. I'd go underneath anything pre 2008 and poke around with a screwdriver to make sure it's solid. I wouldn't trade your truck, sell it outright you will get more for it. then go buy a Tundra. Always have a mechanic check out whatever your gonna buy.
