Hi,

I am driving a simple hatchback and planning on upgrading to a new family car. I only have 1 child, so not bothered about a 7 seater. I was planning on getting hyundai ioniq plugin to have an electric car most of the time as i drive 2 miles to work only, would charge like once a week. But then realized that its not optimal, and it would just be a hatchback again. So I researched a value for money luxury car and I am really impressed by skoda superb mk3 2015- , specifically 2017 as first 2 years had bugs with electronics and small issues. Tons of space, good looking, luxury , good drive and with 1.4 TSI 150Bhp somewhat economical. Seen ALL possible reviews and cant find a fault other than price. Any owners or opinions if i should pursue this car next year?

For those answering this is a VW basically just like Audi, Porshce, this is part of VW Group

Those are fine cars as long as you're in Europe you could never get parts for them here in the United States

Here in states that is basically a 2019 Jetta which is a pile of junk but in Europe it may be good I went to Turkey and everyone has Skoda's and VW's and Audi's. Is it manuel or automatic?

Before I bought Auris, I was looking at Superb 4x4. It was the price that changed my mind. And the fact you can get only diesel 4x4. I still prefer naturally aspirated engines. And the last models with handbrakes were made about 8 years ago.

I'd say wait a year. And don't expect reliability of older ones as they were more reliable than VW and Audi. It seems to me VW is degrading it.

Anyway test it and take it to a mechanic to check it if you like it.

Good luck!

I like Skodas! Enjoy them before VW runs them into the ground.
