Hey scotty my friend has a 2012 Hyundai sonata with 98000 miles. When he goes to turn the wheel it sounds like something is creaking. Steering is electric so I'm wondering what it could be?

Creaking of clack clack sound ?
Creaking could some rubber bushes need some rubber rejunivator around steering system and suspension.
Clack clack .. CV join are gone .
