Hello everyone,
Today, I just replaced the front brake pads on my 2014 Honda CRV 70,000 km. I applied anti-seize on a hardware clip, brake pad ear and back side of the pad and lubricated the sliding pin and sprayed the brake cleaner disc. I noticed a squealing noise when I turned left only and not pressing the brake pedal. However, no noise when I turn right!
I first thought the hardware brake calliper clip (which comes with a new brake set in a box) was causing the noise. So, I switched back to the Honda OEM clip but still hear the noise. What is the cause of this noise?

This is stressing me out!!!
Well make sure nothing is rubbing any of those clips, but if they aren't rubbing check the dust backing plate that might be rubbing on the road or on the inside you can bend it back. If not that your pads are just cheap. Get a akebono pads. They don't make noise
If everything Scotty suggested checks out, and you used cheap AutoZone brake pads, they may or may not stop making noise after a while.
I changed my truck's brake pads a couple years ago and used AutoZone pads, I used their semi-metallics. They still squeak after 35k miles. I don't care about it, my truck is almost 24 years old, but it drives my girlfriend nuts.
We used their ceramic pads on her 2017 Mustang a couple years ago. They made noise for the first couple days, prompting me to check my work, it was all fine, then they stopped making noise a short time later.
