Steering problem after alignment 98 Avalon Xl V6

The car has 150k miles and is an automatic.

I took my car to a mechanic that did a poor job fixing my cv axle, break pads, and alignment. They had it for 3 days bc they broke part of my car when doing the job. I got it back to find out the steering was worse than ever and it was making a horrible sound.

the sounds was fixed when I took it back. They had bent my break pads. They said the steering wasn’t their problem and they are not sure what is wrong with it.

before I took it in, the steering was about 10 degrees to the right to go straight. Now if I take a right turn it goes about 30 degrees to the right and if I take a left turn it goes 10 degrees to the left. It did not do this at all before the alignment.

what do you think the problem is? Is another part broken? Did they do a horrible job?

thank you for the help.

Did they do a horrible job?

Obviously, yes. They may well have damaged something. You need to find a better mechanic that can inspect the front suspension for problems and align it properly.
