2005 Volvo S80 Steering Wheel Noise on Right Turns

Hey everybody,

I have a 2005 Volvo S80 2.5L engine with 176,000 miles on it. My question is about my steering wheel and column. When I turn my wheels to the right (making a right turn) I hear some creaking noise coming from my steering column. Doesn't matter how sharp or little I turn, it will always make a creaking noise. When I turn my wheels to the left, no sound comes out of the steering column or any sound at all. Does anyone seem to know what could be causing the right turn to make such an odd noise?

All tires are the same make and brand. Fairly new (6 months old with about 20,000 miles on them). Tire pressure is normal with no leaks.

Check your power steering fluid level.

I have checked the power steering fluid in my car. It was clean and full on cold. Any other recommendations?
