Hello,
Recently I experienced something very strange with my car. It is a 2013 hyundai elantra gt hatchback sport with about 120,000 miles, automatic, not sure on the OBDII codes. Today was the first time this has happened, but as I was making left turns doing in town driving, there was a fizzing/boiling over sound coming from the glovebox area followed by a clear liquid leaking from under glove box (although inside of glove box remains dry)and this phenomena only occurs when I am making a left turn. And today around 4pm I first experienced it. I have not looked inside the engine yet. I am wondering if it is a coolant/radiator problem, an AC hose leak, or a leak happening due to a drain clog from the outside dash above engine that collects outside leaves and water off of front windshield. I saw one of your videos on YouTube and figured I would ask a question on this issue my car is having. Not to mention that in the past few weeks before this leak today, I have noticed a liquid gurgling sound coming from front dash board on the driver side most often when I accelerate up a certain hill on a certain street. Not sure if that has anything to do with this leak I experienced today. Thank you so much!
If the fluid is clear water, it may be condensation from your air conditioning system - there is probably a rubber hose disconnected which is supposed to route the water out the bottom of the car - reconnect it.
IF the fluid coming out smells like coolant, it's probably a leak in your heater core, which is usually right behind the glove compartment. Fluid goes through there no matter whether you have heat on or not. That's usually pretty exepnsive to fix.
