I have 2014 Honda CRV. When I first start the car, the RPM sits at 1500. So I bought CRC throttle and a MAF sensor cleaner. I have to remove the air intake vent in order to reach the throttle valve. But the clamp screw is stripped and I can't remove it.
I used an impact driver to remove the screw by force but didn't work and the needle plier didnt work. I don't know what to do.
If it's the original OEM one I'm thinking of it has the shallow phillips head slots cut in it that strip out when you try to turn the rusty screw.
On top of that there's not much room to work on it.
It's got that weird metric head that doesn't seem to match up with any metric sockets.
You could try using a 7/32 SAE 12 point socket on the end of an extension. Try to hammer it onto the clamp bolt and then see if you can loosen the clamp like that.
If the bolt threads are stripped you'll have to use a drill bit that's a little larger than the bolt head and drill the bolt head off.
Here again, you're in a tight space. You may need a drill bit extension to reach in there.

Or would the oil change shop change that clamp to the new one? I am thinking of buying a hose steel clamp from HomeDepot and replace it. The link below is the item I am going to buy
