All below is assuming that your p/s fluid is full and pump is working ok. Obviously if the fluid is low fill that up first. And make sure your p/s belt is not loose or missing.

Yes worn mounts could cause stiff steering, but also ball joints or any other moving parts that are turning your wheels. So you would have to diagnose by process of elimination. Jack up the front and then remove your tie rod end. Turn the wheel by hand you should be able to move it very freely if it’s very hard to turn the wheels by hand your issue is ball joints or strut mounts. Make sure to test both sides. If not don’t connect the tie rods, make sure both are disconnected for this next part and pay very close attention to this you don’t want to lose your alignment. Go inside and turn the wheel to left 180 and right 180 don’t turn it too much where you are going to lose where center is. If you find that the steering still hard with out the tie rods connected your issue is somewhere in the steering gear or shaft so I would lube the hell outta the shaft first where it connects to the steering gear. All of this testing could be done with the engine off. Are you are testing for is binding or seized parts. And finally if everything else is working the way it should it could be your steering gear/rack.

Is your power steering pump & rack working normally? Any fluid leaks? Any groaning noises?

They are all working. And there is a creaming noise when turning the steering wheel to the right

As mentioned above, it could be due to the shocks, but you’ll have to load test all the other front end parts so that you don’t start replacing parts, randomly.
