Lost power at high RPM

My car is 2009 Subaru Impreza 1.5R, manual, 230,000 KM mileage.

While driving on the highway, I was at around 5K RPM. The Engine's peak is around 6-6500 RPM, but the car was really slugish at this point and it was accelerating like a turtle.

At 5.5K RPM the engine made some strange noise, at first I thought that I had hit the rev limiter, so I shifted in higher gear. Then I gave gas, and I heard some rattling noise. This noise was hearable only when accelerating. It disappeared after 1-2 minutes and I didn't hear it again.

Besides this bizzare moment, the car was awesome to drive

I am thinking that it could be a bad fuel, or misfire? What do you think?

Well pray it was a little bit of bad gas cuz if not that rattling would be pissed to knock. Meaning the engines weren't internally. Realize when you have an engine that worn especially a boxer engine, I wouldn't push the IRPNs because eventually you will blow the engine. It will throw a rod
