Hey Scotty! I have a 2004 Camry 2.4L with 220,000 miles and was wondering about a problem I have with my temperature gauge. The picture below is how it is most of the time while driving. Sometimes it does reach the middle, but for the most part, it is always lower than halfway. Do I have a worn-out thermostat? It has never been replaced. What other parts should I check for?

Go ahead and change the thermostat

The temperature sending unit on the intake manifold water passage is usually worn out on 18 year old vehicles. I would replace it as well as the thermostat.
