Hi Scotty.
I drive a 2019 Silverado LT with 70,000km (43,500 miles) on it and never had any problems. I took an hour drive one day and left it for three hours. When returning, a message came up saying “Service Power Steering” as well as “Service ESC.” I turned off the truck and waited around 10 minutes. With the time passing, the messages and dash light disappeared. The car was driving fine and the messages/dash light did not come up again.

Where are the electronics on GM products? Aren't that great. It thinks there's a problem with the power steering system so I would advise finding a guy like me to hook up his fancy scan tool to Analyze it . You never know
