The Bad Toyotas

Topic starter

Would you say that 1 out of 4 or 25% of all modern Toyotas sold (90s, 00s, 10s and today) were considered ones to avoid?

The ones that are bad are the MZ 3.0 engine and 2.2 I4 for oil sludge, the AZ engines for burning oil and/or oil consumption and the U760E transmission for having issues specifically for the 2012-2014 Camry.

Is there any other bad Toyotas I might have missed?

There's no way that I'd say 25% of the Toyota's are bad a lot of the oil sludge problem was because people didn't change the oil often enough don't listen to the crap that people tell you it's still change it every 5,000 mi and they'll last a lot longer
