Hey Scotty, I have a 2019 honda civic lx cvt with 39,700 miles on the odometer. At what mileage intervals or how many years until I change the thermostat and radiator cap. I bought the car brand new with zero miles and currently have 39,700 miles on it. Also how often should the PCV valve be replaced?

Keep an eye on your temperature gauge.  If it starts to act weird, it's time to change your thermostat and radiator cap and possibly the temperature sending unit.  Honda says to change your PCV valve every 30K miles.

or if you see the coolant level start to drop

Can I change the pcv valve and thermostat without a scan tool on a 2019 civic? Because I don’t have a scan tool

Yes.

So I just replaced the pcv valve on my 2019 Honda civic and I made sure the 10mm bolt was on there good but the part seems to wiggle left and right a very tinny amount when I try to move it with my hand, is this normal for it to move a tiny bit?

More than anything else, at your mileage, you’re due for a CVT fluid change -

No.  Check that you have the correct part by looking it up using your VIN, not just year, make and model.

So I checked the vin number and it definitely is the right part number, I should note that if I’m facing the engine in front I mean that it wiggles back and forth very very little, not left and right, when I move it with my hand, it could just be my OCD.

Also is it okay if I accidentally got 0w20 oil on the pcv valve because I lubricated the o-rings on it and I think I got some on the see-through hole in the middle of the valve?
