Hi Scotty, I have a 2016 Equinox. My problem is every now and then my blower motor won’t work. Sometimes it will work after I drive it, turn it off and restart it. Other times when it won’t blow after driving and restarting, I will hit the control knob which controls how hard it blows and that will work but not always. Connection problem? Expensive fix? Thanks

blower motor and resistor. They usually fail together.
If it starts up after you whack it with a hammer then you know it's the motor

You probably need a new heater blower resistor.

Since hitting the control knob sometimes makes it work that suggests the switch behind the knob is defective.
