Hi there.
It seems like you approve of the 2015 RAV4 (non-hybrid): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uyRv-ZH3UE&t=28s
I'm looking at a 2016 RAV4 XLE, non-hybrid, automatic transmission, with 53,400 miles on it. From a private seller for 21,500. Will take it to a mechanic. The first owner was a company fleet vehicle, the second owner was a kind older couple in the desert who seemed to take good care of it.
I looked under the driver's side to check for rust damage as you said to do in your video. I'm not sure exactly what to look for, shiny metal, but this is dusty metal maybe? Not sure what to make of it.

I also checked under the hood and didn't see any nests or anything. I don't think that's corrosion? It's been in Arizona and Illinois.

Battery seems fine?

I checked to seams up front to make sure the bumper hadn't hit anything. I'd say good.

Back bumper also seemed alright, maybe not perfect seams but not too horribly different. Checked the wheel wells to make sure they were even.
Then just a tiny bit of splatter on the bottom of the hood.

I think it looks clean. Will take it to a mechanic.
What are your thoughts on the 2016 Toyota RAV4's in general? And are there any things to look out for or learn from these pictures?
I've really enjoyed all I've learned from your channel and from this community so far! You're the best.
Thanks!
Seems like a pretty good vehicle from where I said. Just do make sure to have a mechanic check it out first
