BRAKE JOB BLUNDER

Hey Scotty, been a fan for a long time, I made the mistake of taking my car to my local Honda dealership. In the past I've made several trips to this dealership to do warranty work on my Hondas, this particular occasion it was the only shop who could accommodate my last minute trip. I took my car to have my brakes checked and the tech advised me that my brakes were fine and he wouldn’t charge me except for the oil change. All was well, I headed to Baltimore Maryland- no problem. 4 weeks go by and I was on my way to the great state of Illinois for a family reunion. On the way I hit some traffic;  noting crazy, as it was a Friday lunch rush. I’m cruising 70 MPH down I-24 and I start slowing down for my exit but my brake seemed to go all the way in and I can’t slow down. I have 7 souls on board and I somehow stop and pull into a Burger King parking lot. I get a “low brake fluid” message from my dash and pop the hood to find the master cylinder well below the fill line. I look at over to the passenger side and discover that my caliper is riding on my rim and I have a pool of brake fluid under my tire. I call up the Honda dealer and they offered to pay for towing and a rental. I’m stuck in Illinois with a rental car and a local shop who can’t accommodate me until Tuesday. Well Scotty, any words of advise on how to handle the fine people of friendship Honda of Boone, thank you. God bless.
