Throttle body replacement to make car run better

Scotty, it is ever a good idea to replace a modern car throttle body just to see if it helps make an older car run better (after other maintenance things like spark plug and filter replacements are done)? I replaced the throttle body on my daughter's 2015 Dodge Journey Crossroad 2.4L (automatic with 85k miles) due to codes (in March 2020; and forgot the codes it set), and after I did the reset I noticed a big difference in how well the engine ran. Then I felt I had to repeatedly warn her that the vehicle was running and she might not know it because it was idling so quiet and smooth! I did notice that the idle RPM changed from 800 to 700 after replacement. But, all the vibration and rocking of an older car engine were gone. I bought a medium Rockauto priced $137 part: (CARDONE 677002 {#4891735AC, 4891735AD} Economy Remanufactured; includes the throttle position sensor).

I'm thinking of replacing the throttle body unit on my 2011 Chevy Equinox 2.4L (automatic with 112k miles) which I do a fair amount of preventive work on. I have a high level of skill/experience working on cars, etc.

I would not just randomly replace a throttle body I would run a scan with my dealer level scan tool road test and analyze the data many things can make them run bad and you don't want to guess what the next expensive part is
