Just bought an excellent condition 2006 Hummer H2. It does have 113,000 miles… Don’t know if transmission fluid has ever been changed or not? Should I change it or let it ride?
(If I’m not mistaken, back in ‘06 GM products still had dipsticks.)
Check it using the dipstick first.
If it’s not completely worn or chunky - yes.
Thanks Dan, Yes it has a dipstick and the fluid is still red and not chunky.
So with 99% probability, you can change it without having issues.
If the filter is accessible, change it too.

Change the fluid and filter. Do not flush.
