Hi Scotty,
I love to listen to your advice. I have a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid with ~79,000 miles that began to shudder violently while in neutral. I connected my OCD reader and got code P0302 - cylinder 2 misfire. I had the car towed to a nearby Ford dealer and they are telling me "the torque converter and flywheel are coming apart". This seems very suspicious to me - should I be concerned?
Thanks,
Peter

A failing torque converter would definitely cause shuddering as you describe. In order to repair, the transmission has to be dropped. So it's a pricey job. Maybe get a second opinion and go from there, but it could be the correct diagnosis.

a misfire can also cause jerking
