I found this toyata Corolla 2005 with 178k miles on it going for $6495 and I also found this Lexus ES 350 2007 going for $8000 with around 106k miles on it, while the Corolla does have a 6 speed manual, with an engine that supposedly the lotus Elise uses, the Corolla redline is 8200 rpm so I’m assuming this engine is extremely reliable. I’ve heard people here tell that this Lexus does have an issue where it’s rubber hoses for oils do go bad after awhile and I don’t really know if those hoses have been changed at all. Assuming it was purchased from an auction I don’t really know much about this car at all. Anyways I currently am financing a Honda Accord 2017 v6 coupe with a 6 speed manual, and while I do feel like I paid a lot for this car and the loan is so many years because I am a teenager, I feel as if I might just return this vehicle, I’ve only put around 4000k miles on it since I got it and the vehicle itself is getting a whole paint job (mostly covered by insurance) since it was hit in the back bumper and the Money to pay for the car isn’t coming from my pocket, I feel as if anything the vehicle would have gone either gone up in value or will sell for the same price I bought it for, considering she is a pretty rare car here in New York Long Island. Anyways that’s the situation I’m in currently and I just need your thoughts on these two cars, I have seen a 2009 toyata Corolla xrs with 324k miles on it!! And still being sold later! So it does give me a little bit of hope, I feel like this car should last me awhile. Vin for toyata Corolla xrs 2005 is 2T1BY30E45C320577, unfortunately I don’t have the Lexus vin yet as that car has been sitting in a shop for awhile since the owner feels it’s more safe there than his parking lot.

I would not consider that Corolla. Those engines have issues.
