hello, i am interested in buying a Toyota Camry 2002 in a little dealership in my area, it has 250k miles and it’s for $3,000, is it worth me buying ???????
No. To many miles, it's worth 1500.00 tops the dealer most likely paid under 1200. Buy private with history from long time owner.also that year may have rubber timing belt, expensive, when was it changed? Verified?
There are "used" cars and there are "used-up" cars. And a vehicle can only go so far before it becomes a money pit with repair costs more than market value.
With that in mind, my first inclination is to say "NO", but you really haven't provided sufficient information that helps to determine value in the marketplace.
Such information includes, but not limited to Condition, Title Status (Clean, Salvage, Repo Lien, etc), currently registered and smog certified, trim level (LE stick or auto, SE stick or auto, or the fairly rare LE V6), Color, and an estimate of the cost to bring it up to a good, safe operating level.
If it's an LE V6 and in absolutely GREAT condition with no outstanding issues, and an honest mechanic has signed-off on it, I'd recommend buying.
Otherwise, walk away. There's lot of other vehicles out there with far fewer miles on them priced in the same range.

I agree with above comments.
Too many miles and I think it may worth 1000 if in good condition.
The engine and transmission may be ok but this is an old car and all the plastic/rubber parts need to be changed soon.
