2005 4runner 4.7 V8 w/ 165,000 miles. What could be making a very noticeable whining/buzzing noise that sounds like it's coming from the area of the throttle body (sounds similar to a bad power steering pump)? The noise revs with the engine. Still runs great, no codes, has been doing it for several months but I still can't put my finger on where it's coming from.

try to pinpoint the buzzing noise with the stethoscope it's coming from inside the throttle this electronic throttle sometimes will buzz but it could also be the PCV valve which is the age will buzz as they suck air
