Hi there, good job on everything you do.
2001 Toyota 4Runner 4wd automatic, 277.000 miles has a check engine light on for code PO770, transmission solenoid E malfunction, solenoid was replaced twice but code still comes back after car is picked up from a mechanic and driven like 100 miles. Any ideas what would be a problem here? Car drives fine, transmission shifts fine, no issues what so ever. Thank you

In your case, one of these things:
- Clogged valve body.
- Faulty torque converter clutch.

Pretty much “start saving for a new tranny” case, drives fine though, I’ll drive it as it is until inspection time comes over and then go from there
