Hi Scotty and Crew,

Appreciate your Channel immensely.

My car is an essential part of my work and it's been so reliable I hate to change for later model when it's been still working extremely well. The old adage if it ain't Broke don't fix it comes to mind. Haha!

Purchased my late 2000 Toyota Avalon CSX Auto in 2015, an original 15,000 km, (plastic wrap still on doors) from a Qantas pilot that flew more than drove.

Now 7 years later at 145,000kms am looking at getting it a major service and wondering if there are any particular items in engine or suspension I should look for as in wear and tear.

Regular Oil changes (every 5,000kms)were made throughout its life, injection cleaner used twice a year in fuel tank.

Rides a little noisy but that's to be expected , bounce test on suspension seems okay.

Occasionally runs rough for a minute on first start up but then idles , accelerates and powers well.No flat spots in acceleration and Auto transmission seems to run shift smoothly.

Wondering as per your videos if air flow sensor needs looking at or any other parts you feel may have some imminent wear and tear that may be worthwhile looking into.

Appreciate any feedback as I would love another 7 or 8 years of avoidable trouble free motoring from this beautifully reliable car {black}:smile:

Kind regards Mark Z.

Hey those tomato plants can last a really long time and you're talking kilometers not miles so it's got tons of life left. Just do the regular oil change change transmission filter and fluid every 40,000 mi or so and check all the rubbers for leaks and cracks. I see many of those things go well over 300,000 miles easily

TOMATO PLANTS!!!! LMAO!

@oldandy Lol I'm dying.
