60 miles daily reliability required.  Which one would you choose?

🙂 Thanks

Toyota AyGo X is very promising if equipped with a manual - especially on safety, but its engine is suboptimal (not the greatest, not the worst - just average)

The Suzuki (if equipped with a manual) is worse by every mark expect for the engine that probably will last longer than Toyota’s old 1KR (the same engine as the 2016-up Citroen C1/Peugeot 108/ AyGo, it self being a modernized version of the original AyGo’s engine)

Personally, if I had a gun pointed to my head and the bullet wouldn’t be an option, I’d go with the AyGO X. Please Consider upgrading to at least a Yaris.

I do not recommend the “automatic” on either of these, Toyota’s new TINY CVT is questionable, and so is Suzuki’s AMT (automated manual).
As far as reliability the AMT is probably better than the CVT, but it’s probably also much jerkier and probably worse in heavy traffic - but usually the only thing that wear out on an AMT (before 150k miles) is the clutch, which is cheaper to replace than to rebuild a super complex CVT.

It’s really a race to the bottom between these two.
