I have a 2007 toyota camry se 3.5 v6 that has the check engine light when scanned it read code p0712 which says that transmission temperature sensor is the problem. It has an automatic transmission and about 200,000 miles on it I am unable to find the location of the sensor or if the problem is something else. Any help is appreciated thank you.
It's on the valve body. You have to take the pan off the bottom of the transmission, empty the fluid and then you can access the sensor and replace it
