Toyota Camry LE Buying Options

I am a grad student looking to get a Toyota Camry for my daily commuting and probably a long drive once in a while (mostly 2 hour journeys)

I have two options from two different dealerships: a 2009 Toyota Camry LE with 138,000miles at $5,500 (2 owners/no accidents reported) and a 2011 model with 171,000miles (3 owners/1 accident reported). Any help in selecting will be much appreciated.

Have independent mechanic verify condition of engine/trans etc.

2009 can be an oil burner and believe 2011 had trans/torque converter issues.

Thanks man! I'll do that. I actually made a mistake it is a 2008 model.

2007-2009 Camry models had oil burning issues and the 2011 has way too many miles and owners I would look for the previous generation or for one with lower miles 2010-2011.
