Scotty, thank you for all you do. You're channel is awesome!
I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4 Sport V6 Auto 4WD with 58,000 miles, no codes.
When I start it up and put it in reverse (2WD mode - I rarely use 4WD), there is a sharp metallic "clunk" noise that seems to be coming from the front left wheel area. The noise sounds like a worn out U-joint with no grease. I can feel the clunk in the brake pedal. This happens nearly 100% of the time after the vehicle has sat overnight. Once it's been driven, it rarely happens again ... until the next day.
Your thoughts?
Thank you so very much!

Sounds like a worn engine or transmission mount.
As they warm up, the rubber may become pliable, once again.
Check all of them first & then take it from there. Highly doubt if it’s the transmission at such low mileage.
Thanks for the response ITWT. Appreciate your input. I'll have to have them czeched out.
On a side note: Based on your avatar, I'm assuming your the PIC?
Still sic..
Close enough! Wind 280 at 12, runway 26R, cleared for takeoff! 🙂
Hahaha cleared for takeoff 26R..
Check the brakes as well.
Thanks Yaser, brakes be good. 🙂
Alright. It’s time to check the suspension parts.
