Toyota Matrix P0328 code

Hey Scotty, I have a 2010 Toyota Matrix five-speed manual 1.8 L engine with 267,000km on it (Canada). Lately it has been randomly throwing a P0328 code (Knock/combustion vibration sensor 1 circuit high bank 1 or single sensor). It came once, I cleared it, and it was gone for a few weeks, and came back 3 or 4 times. It has been gone for a few weeks now. Nothing seems to be running funny. Also, should I change the transmission fluid? I have been the owner for the past 30,000km and I’m not sure if it has ever been changed. Thanks!

Problem could of been some bad gas.

Keep in mind that clearing a code never fixes anything.

It would be a good idea to change the fluid. Take note of the debris you find on the drain plug. Very fine is normal wear and tear. Any big pieces, not so good.

Refill with exactly what Toyota recommends.
