Hey scotty (or mods) my friends toyota rav4 engine suddenly cut out on him all the dashlights came on but he was able to get it to turn over in a parking lot easily, he went to a mechanic but they couldnt find the problem and just said his oil was abit low, he doesnt have any lights on now but hes too scared to drive it please help!
Did they scan for any codes?
It may have been a clogged fuel filter or a weak fuel pump, but any trouble codes would help diagnose it better.

Yea they said no codes came up and i can hear the fuel pump working but ill check the filter incase they over looked that
Load test the alternator & battery too.
Odds are that the fuel pump is going out sine her is no code shown. Change the fuel filter and then pressure test the fuel pump. Good luck.
