Hey scotty, what doy ou think of Toyota Rush/Daihatsu Terios 1.5L n/a automatic transmission. 1,270 kg mini SUV. Is it reliable since it is Toyota? And what do you think about the new GR Yaris 1.6L turbocharged inline-3, is that engine create too much pressure since it small engine with turbocharged?

Well I've never seen a Toyota rush cuz they don't sell them here in the United States but I agree with you with the little Mazda you take a three-cylinder engine which are notorious for not lasting long anyway in turbocharged it's kind of a recipe for disaster in the long run

The Rush/Terios is a super compact SUV (the new one is a MPV) which sells extremely well in the SE Asian region. There are millions of Toyotas running with the evergreen 1.5L NA engine.

The latest Rush/Terios MPV is just a few years old, so the long term reliability is unproven. However, the old model was bulletproof.

They all ride horribly, however it’s a model built to a cost with a reliable drivetrain.

If you’re looking for ride comfort, spend a little more & get the Toyota Innova. That is built way better than the Rush/Terios and I’ve seen them go with 1,000,000 kms on the original engine internals.
