Toyota tcc issue

Hello

Ive got a custom swap project

Its a toyota corolla 2009 chassis and running a 1nzfe with u440e/aw80-40le transmission

The car was a manual 2nzfe before swap

The problem im having is with tcc lockup

First question: Is the tcc solenoid positive 12v controlled via ecm or ground controlled ?

Right now the transmission shifts fine from 1-4 gear but doesn't lockup after that

Manually tcc solenoid works as ive tested it by applying power and ground while driving at 70kmh

  1. On the gear side pin 9 is ground right now and pin 4 is going to a57

Ill list down details ecu part number

Ecu: 89661-12E31

Also no codes but then i see live data tcc it goes off on off instantly

No click no lock etc

I think the TCC is always ECU controlled.

couldn't find the wiring diagrams.

You have to look in the right place. The 80-40LE was used in the 2004 Echo as well as several GM, Ford and Suzuki cars. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Aisin_transmissions#Transverse)

TCC circuit is right here: https://charm.li/Chevrolet/2004/Aveo%20L4-1.6L%20VIN%206/Repair%20and%20Diagnosis/Diagrams/Electrical%20Diagrams/Transmission%20Control%20Systems/

and Toyota:

don't you have an electrical schematic to work from?

They're free on charm.li

Yes i did try that website but couldn't find the wiring diagrams.

I did however find a pdf with the wiring diagram that showed that pin a57 controlled slu+ and should be connected to pin 4 of the transmission

Although doing this doesn't make it work

I also used a volt meter at pin a57 it appears to have 12v phantom voltage

Also i wanted to know if this circuit is ground controlled by ecu or 12v+ controlled ?
