Should I change my ATF

Hi Scotty, I have a Toyota Yaris 2019 make(2NR-FBE engine ,1.5 litre naturally aspirated engine with automatic transmission), since this was a pre owned car I am not sure bout the actual mileage although the odometer reading is 40000 kilometres. The car is working perfectly and the transmission works like a charm however I recently learnt that the transmission fluid should be replaced. Now I have two questions-1) When should I replace the transmission fluid (out of the 40000 kilometres I have driven almost 20k since I owned it 2) Can I use any other transmission fuel except the Toyota genuine FE fuel since this fuel is not available in India outside the dealership and dealership is not willing to sell it unless they replace it themselves), could you suggest castrol, motul or valvoline transmission fluid if yes then which grade should I use. kindly help me out, your fan from India
