I love your videos, they're informative and entertaining. I noticed one the other day, you were mentioning Tundra's not so great gas mileage. I have a 2017 full 4 door Tundra with the 5.7 engine(2wheel drive). It has 54k miles. I feel it gets pretty good gas mileage. I took a short trip today, l reset my avg. gas mileage and depending on the level of incline, l got anywhere from 21-24mpg at 65-70mph. I have some pictures of the speed & miles per gallon & will try to send them as well. Thanks, Tommy

I can see that being possible under certain conditions, like road mileage going not too fast, and on flat roads for the most part.
My GX470 can do okay, especially driving around 60mph, I can get even 20+.
However, most of the time I am in mountains, and have people with me, mpg plummets quickly. Being hard on the throttle or idling in city does not help either.
Also, better to get your mpg by fill up, reset trip odometer, and drive a good bit, fill up and do the math. Any incline or decline will throw off the active mpg gauge, the avg can be close, but they seem to be generous in comparison with what I am actually getting.
The Tundras are great for reliability, the competition just has better gas mileage in general. Doesn't both me though, how much money do we save driving the toyota V8 vehicle for a million miles, while the other guys are paying to replace their vehicle much sooner?
