Hello Scotty. I have 2019 Jeep Cherokee and have been thinking about trading it for something better. A couple of people have told me that the new 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO would be good but I also saw that it’s both manual and automatic transmission. I just wanted to know what the difference is between both, IF ANY and I know it’s a dumb question but just wanted to see if you could help since this would be my first trade and cash full purchase. Manuals can last forever if you like it consider a manual but the automatics are one of the best out there if you are like the %90 percent of Americans who only drive automatics or find autos more convenient, I would get an automatic. Both would last a very very long time, sometimes 3 4 times more than any Chevrolet or Ram transmission.
The manual transmission can last literally forever. So, if you like driving the manual, it is a better choice to get one, otherwise, both are excellent choices.
Assuming you know how to use a manual, (you probably do) they are good and will last you very, very long. The automatic is also good. They are both good choices, just pick depending on personal preferences.
