Toyotas And Hondas Rule, But...

I'm poor. I know that Toyotas and Hondas rule, but even used they cost a lot to maintain and insurance is expensive. I've got a 2009 Kia Spectra that a friend sold to me for $1. When it dies I don't really want another car with 150,000 miles for $3000. They're complex too.

I have decided that I could get a good used motorcycle with 10,000 miles or less for around $3000 and the 650-1200 cc motorcycles can last over 100,000 miles. The maintenance costs less than a car with the exception of tires and chains. Still, that is much less expensive to operate than any car. What do you think about this strategy for poor people? How many miles do you think your Triumph will last?

Nothing wrong with saving some cash on a car .. that all it is.

Only problem is you can carry alot with a bike vs a car and rain when you ride.

Also the fact u can just hope in a car and not get suited for a bike.
