Has anyone seen any significant issues with toyotas new 2.5 a25a-fks dynamic force engines? After checking some toyotas out this weekend I want to get a 2018+ Camry with the 2.5 and 8 speed auto, Just want to be aware of any possible issues.
See below: so far I have not heard or read of any issues related to this engines. Since they are still fairly new engines, jury is still out on the long term longevity/reliability of those engines. Be sure to change engine oil every 5,000 miles and not every 10,000 miles on those engines.

The engine has been around since 2017. I haven’t heard much. Hopefully nothing in the future.
The only potential problem I can see is from the plastic they are using. I hope they did there research and used plastics that don’t get brittle or dry out. That’s only potential. Who knows years down the line.
