Toyota's praise

Hey Scotty I have a 2011 Corolla S and I had to get my alternator replaced at a little over 120,000 miles when I witnessed my electric power steering turned the concrete, luckily I had a warranty on it when I bought it from the dealership 2 weeks ago. At the dealership when they gave me a rental car for free it was a 2021 Camry LE. praise for Toyota's awesome customer service.

I hope you had the Corolla inspected by a professional mechanic, before you bought it..

How could I when I got it from the same dealership.....

Not all of Toyota's costumer service has always been good.

In some countries they screwed up on the transmission (Toyota MMT) are refused to take any action. and then they released a 1.33L engine (NZ-series) and they all broke down... and many more stories of Toyota being very shady in Europe.

Your dealer is good, not arguing that. But that's not really not a world wide universal thing...

For example, Ford changed my clutch and reprogrammed by TCM for free (when you could barely feel there is an issue) and I only had a month left on my warranty.

They went as far as even changing the "lifetime" BO-DC fluid. They did everything so I won't have to worry about my transmission for the next 60k miles.

All of my interactions with Ford always have been very present,

But I know many people especially in the US have been screwed by Ford and had the opposite experience of me.

You know what they say, the sales department sells the first car, the service department sells the 2nd and 3rd.

If it is still under warranty, have an independent mechanic check the car (especially engine and transmission) to make sure you won'r have issues after the warranty is over.

This is what happens when you get toyota's cheap vehicles. Things break. I would always ditch a corolla and get a camry. I wouldn't think twice.
